I love these recipes. I don't know how many guys post on here, but I'm not ashamed! My friends make fun of me for being so healthy (as a college guy), but eating healthy makes you feel so much better. Keep up the great work Kelly :)

I just found your blog through StumbleUpon and it's exactly what I've been looking for! I'm a huge Weight Watchers fan myself and have had lots of success on the program. I had to take a WW hiatus recently as I was pregnant but I've since had my beautiful daughter and am back on program. I've been having a hard time finding appealing points-friendly recipes that my hubby will also eat. I LOVE that you list exact serving size, points and nutrition info! It's like you read my mind for what I want from recipes (a lot of sites claim to have skinny recipes but never list nutrition info). I look forward to following and trying out your recipes!

Kelly | Eat Yourself Skinny said...

Aw thank you SO much Vanessa, I'm so glad you stopped by!! Congratulations on your beautiful daughter and I hope you find some recipes you really enjoy! xoxo

WOW I just found your blog. You are beautiful and I seriously admire your passion for health and the fact that you've found happiness in it (which I am working towards). People like you are incredibly inspiring to me, so thank you! Also, I LOVE WINE. My boyfriend surprised me by planning a weekend wine tour this past Summer and it was incredible! We hope to make our next tour stop in California. I am a white drinker too. CHEERS!!

I saw you were looking for a sweet red wine. I too am a sweet wine type girl. I live in Maryland (also a redskins fan. Gooo Skins!) Anyway there is a winery called Boordy and one of my favorites is Jazzberry. Its very tasty. You also have to try there Tango Peach Wine. Love your Blog.

Seeing your site, I wanted to hate you because you were what I like to call a "skinny, blonde, bitch". But after reading your about me I have HUGE respect for you and find what you are doing AMAZING! You have now motivated me to start living life and getting in shape. I take back my original comment of you being a "skinny, blonde, bitch", you are now, "inspirational, lovely, full of life woman".

Stephanie said...

I love your blog, Kelly! Thank you so much for the healthy recipes!

Sharon said...

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you like the blog, despite being completely unhealthy :) I admire all that you've accomplished, and in such a short amount of time. Your blog is amazing. Keep up the great work!

Your blog is awesome! I love reading about people's lives in their "about me" section. It's probably second to seeing what food people come up with. I've never done Weight Watchers or any diet program really and this summer I am determined to eclipse a net loss of 100 lbs, which has been a goal of mine for awhile (At -80 Lbs now).

As a lifetime Steelers fanatic (I wish I could afford Season tickets), I admire your team dedication. But, it's a shame it has to be the redskins...nobodies perfect I guess :P. But, again, really enjoying your blog, keep up the great work!

Aimee L said...

Hi!! I just found your blog via Pinterest, but a few bloggers I know in the Richmond, VA area were talking about your blog at our last blate this past week (Sarah from Simply Sarah and Jayme & Mendi from Her Late Night Cravings)!!

Obviously as mentioned above I'm from VA (Fairfax originally but I've lived in Stafford, Lynchburg and now Richmond) and I'm also a HUGE Redskins fan, too!! Sooo jealous you have season tix!! HTTR!!!! :) :) :)

ANNNND loving that you're a wino...so am I! It's my goal to visit every winery on the Monticello wine trail and I try to go to a couple of new wineries every month!!

Oliver is SOOO adorable - I'm also a dog owner to a papillon named Hazel :) Just got her in March, she's 4 months old right now and although she's a handful (puppy stage), she's so much fun and is my four-legged child, so no judgment ;)

So obviously I'm following you because in addition to being a blonde, being from VA, being a HUGE Skins fan, being a fellow wino, and being a fellow dog owner, I'm also trying to eat healthier...after losing my "love chub" recently I'm just trying to maintain it and I have a huge sweet tooth and very active social life, and obviously I love my wine! So thanks so much for blogging about what you do - very excited to try some of your recipes :)

xoxo Aimee

I just found your blog through Pintrest....and I love it!! I am disabled due to permanent nerve damage to my pudendal nerve (major nerve for the pelvic area, organs & floor muscles). With being inactive & all the medicines that I am on, I have gained 20lbs in the last 6 months and additional weight prior to that. So I have recently joined Weight Watchers (for the 3rd time in 8 or so yrs). So I LOVE your low calorie, but yummy recipes. And I LOVE the fact that you have a Yorkie...I actually have a Silkie which is a mix between a Yorkie and an Australian terrier; her name is Stella. I look forward to following your blog.

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I love your blog, and you post a lot of really great recipes that I'm obsessed with. Because your blog has been so great, I nominated it for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! If you go to my page on wordpress, and look at my most recent post about the nomination, you can see what it means. I don't know if it actually means much except to encourage bloggers and to make us feel good and to acknowledge other bloggers, but your blog has been really awesome so you definitely deserve it if it does mean anything!!

Hi Kelly
I just found your blog and want to congratulate you on its success and in such a short space of time. A healthy diet is, of course, just one ingredient to ones' overall well-being.

I went through a very difficult time and also created a blog - www.theSarayiahpost.com to help others using my experiences. It deals with well-being (mind, body and spirit) and articulates Life issues (such as Love and Relationships etc) to provide solutions in a unique and engaging way.

Maybe you can cast your eye over it and tell me what you think?

Hope you have had a wonderful Easter.
Love
