My older sister asked me to be her maid of honor. I just graduated and I'm not very "liquid" right now. I can't make her bachelorette party a quarter of what she deserves. I would use the $1500 to show her how special she has been to me. She's always taken care of me- from teaching me to read to teaching me to sneak out of the house. I'd love to be able to take care of her on such a special occasion.
I would 1st buy my daughter a tablet for her college textbooks because buying them is so expensive, 2nd I would take my husband on a long weekend trip.

This would be such a blessing to me right now - I lost my job last year and things have been tight the past couple of months.
With a $1,500 Visa gift card, the first thing I would do would be to go visit my grandfather out of state who has been in poor health this past year. After that I would most likely buy myself some new interview clothes since I've also lost 70 lbs in the past year and have been relying on hand me downs from friends since unemployment doesn't afford me to go clothes shopping.
I would send my parents away on a vacation because they've been working so hard and haven't done anything for themselves in a long time!
The leveled headed person in me would use the money to make some more updates on our fix-it-upper home! Probably some new doors for the bedrooms. Or send my parents on a weekend get away since they have helped my husband and I out a lot in the past year!

I moved away from home for the first time in August to attend graduate school 5 hours away.. I've had a difficult time adjusting, especially because being by yourself is SO expensive. My roommate and I have this terrible futon that makes sitting in the living room and watching TV downright PAINFUL. So we would love to get a couch and some other fun things to make our apartment more like a home. That would help with the transition tremendously! Plus I could pay some much needed bills (womp)!

It's Valentine's Day today: Winning this money would ensure that I can do all of the following while I'm in India in November with a stop in Dubai and still save for another trip over. For me, it's a reward for my 80 pounds lost--NEVER to be found again!--as of this morning, and I'm back in my size 5s and 7s. I've done this for me...and for one special guy I'll finally see for the first time when I'm there.

I would be able to afford a gym membership! I really want to join the classes at the YMCA, but they are just so expensive! I've actually considered getting a 2nd job just so I could afford a membership, but I also volunteer and I wouldn't be able to do all of that.
