Soo I'm BACK. I can't tell you how good it feels to get back in the normal swing of things, but my vacation was definitely amazing! I started {and finished} two books - The Lucky One and The Help - enjoyed some much-needed rest and relaxation and even got a pretty nice tan to boot!
Also, I can't even begin to describe the amazingness that was last night's concert. I have been anticipating Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw since I heard they were going on tour together and purchased front row tickets as soon as they went on sale. Seriously...I'm that obsessed. What made it even better was that the concert was held at my favorite stadium in the whole wide world FedEx Field! Well it couldn't have been a more PERFECT day so I just had to share with you some of the photos I snapped courtesy of my other obsession, Instagram.
This is also of course since I don't have any recipes for you yet.

Friends, allow me to introduce to you Jake Owen, Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney.
No, none of these are zoomed in.
And YES. They are that beautiful in real life.
Don't even get me started on the crazies that protect with their life by way of force and/or other bodily harm hog their spot by the stage. Oh my gawd people...we ALL paid the same amount as you did for a front row ticket and no Tim is not going to leave Faith Hill for you, I don't care how cute your fake extensions look. But aside from that, I did get to touch all three of them and Kenny's sweat smacked me right in the eye.
Gross, maybe.
Coolest thing I've ever experienced, totally.

So I think the pictures are pretty much self-explanatory. Amazing concert, amazing friends and seriously amazing FOOD! I couldn't have asked for a better way to finish up my vacation and so glad to be back to share yummy recipes with you!
I even have a new favorite dessert I had at my girlfriend's bridal shower this past weekend. All I have to say is pineapple + rum + FAT-FREE.

i love country music and what a great city. Jake is really talented. he just got married so kenny is the only single one.
I love Country Fest and look forward for months to the "best day of the year!". My friends and I are seeing them in Boston on Aug. 25th. I wish we had front row seats that is amazing!!!
How amazing!!! I'm too cheap to dole out the money for front row seats, but I bet it is eighty shades of awesome. Glad you had a nice time!

Aww, it looks like you had a wonderful time! There's nothing better than awesome seats. I get to enjoy my 2nd row to Duran Duran very soon and I can't wait. I've only waited since I was a kid to see them and I've either been out of town, their Visas expired and they didn't reschedule the concert or too fat to go! I'm going to scream like I'm 11!
Ahhh I can't believe that you had FRONT ROW seats!! That's SO awesome! I saw Toby Keith this weekend, and even from the way back lawn seats, he was amazing :)

Ahhhh incredible! They came to New Orleans last week but I couldn't make it :( I have seen Chesney before but all three of those studs together?? You must have been in heaven!!!!!!

I saw Tim and Kenny too, last month! My seats were NOT as close as yours as we were literally 4 rows from the very last row. Haha But still an awesome concert! However, I saw Tim and Luke Bryan from THE PIT last summer and that was AH-MAZING!!! I touched them both. :) Glad you had a great time!

Sounds like a fantastic time, but how did you write this whole post without a single mention of Grace Potter??? You post a pic but no mention of her show - she is amazeballs, love love love her. I think she's prob better than Tim and Kenny combined ;)
