Cinnamon and Honey Spiced Grapefruit

Do you ever have those moments in the car when you seem to forget there are other people around and you end up jamming out and singing at the top of your lungs looking like a fool getting lost in a song??

Yep this definitely happened.

2

Best part is, it didn't just happen to me either.  I looked to my left and saw a girl, looking adorable in her work clothes I should add, singing the exact same song I was.  We made eye contact, became mortified together and then laughed at our unspoken connection.  And what was this song you ask that made me become a tiny high school girl again??

......Call Me Maybe.

That's right.  And now it will be stuck in your head all day.
You're welcome.

Oh and here's a delicious grapefruit dish that is fat-free, full of flavor and makes the perfect clean breakfast to start your day off.

LOOOVE me some Blondie baby! I do that all the time because obviously when I'm in my car, I morph into a female rock star and my seat is my stage yo!

I have been known as a car singer before! lol! Have you ever seen that show that used to be on MTV, where they secretly video tape you in the car and the people are singing? Sometimes when I sing I think of that and think of all those people who hear my key voice!

Your grapefruit looks yummy!!

I have got to get on board with the broiled grapefruit! I love it plain but have just been too afraid to heat it up. Love the added spices too.

That sounds absolutely delicious. I have had some grapefruits in my fridge for a week or so because the are just a little too bitter to eat on their own. I am definitely going to try this!

Oh that song...I have definitely rocked out in my car to that and not even cared if others were watching. It just has the power to do that to a girl! I'm the same way in my office when my Grooveshark plays Run Away Baby by Bruno Mars and Everybody Talks by Neon Trees. I can't help but shimmy around! haha! :)

Love your blog and your recipes.. thanks for sharing! But... I'm on weight watchers (and been very successful!) and I've noticed that some of your points plus values aren't accurate. I make this exact grapefruit recipe and it's only 2 points! The problem is that if you plug the nutritional information of the recipe into the WW website or a points calculator it comes out as 3.... because the carbs in fruits alter the points. However, now that fruits are 0 points the only thing with a PP+ value in this recipe is a tablespoon of honey, which has 2 points! It's awesome that fruits are zero... but it makes calculating tricky. We can no longer just put nutritional info from recipes into a calculator and get an accurate PP+ value (every recipe I try from cooking light, blogs etc I first have to enter every single ingredient in the recipe into the weight watchers recipe builder.. and many times the PP+ value comes out lower than if I had just calculated with the nutritional info). Just thought I would let you know since lots of WW followers love your blog!
