Wow I seriously can't believe this year is just about over. I must admit though, 2011 might just have been my happiest year to date. It was also the beginning of 2011 that I started this little bloggy that I have come to love so much. I thought it'd be fun to go back and take a look at a few of my favorite recipes this past year and see how far I've come in the photography world.
I must warn you though, some of these pictures are NOT very pretty, but the recipes are ones that I make time and time again! In fact, I plan on re-making these dishes in 2012 just to take new photos, seriously they're that delicious!
Anyway, thinking back on this past year, most people might say it had it's ups and downs, but I can honestly admit I don't think I had any "downs" this year. No no, I'm not being conceited by any means, but it really was a year full of new beginnings, meeting amazing new friends, lots of laughter and TONS of memories.
Oh yes, and lots and lots of cooking!

I started out using my trusty little iPhone and have learned so much along the way. My blog started because of my passion for cooking and have quickly developed a new passion for photography. Now that I have a brand new lens and a nice new tripod, hopefully my look back on 2012 will another great learning experience and I'll evolve even more.
With that said, Happy New Year everyone!!

Love this post. Its so cool to see the transformation of your photography. I just got my first DSLR a few weeks ago and I can't wait to learn more about food photography. 2011 was a beautiful year for me too and I can only imagine how wonderful 2012 will be. Happy New Year to you!
oh my gosh these all remind me of what I have starred from you in my google reader. It also makes me sad because I am a eggnog snob and the local company I love was out, but I think that it would have been amazing in your muffin recipe!
