So I have some exciting news!!
My cranberry-oatmeal bars made a featured article in the October issue of NYC Resident Magazine! The lovely Shoshana had contacted me a few months ago and asked me to make an oatmeal recipe for an article she was writing and {of course} I jumped at the chance. What I didn't know was that they were planning on picking only one picture {yes folks, ONE!} for their featured photo in the article. Well....the photo chosen was from yours truly!! Check out the full article here if you'd like :)
Well good because I'm guest posting over at one of my favorite blogs today The Colourful Palate! Charissa is one of the sweetest and most talented girls I've met in this fabulous blogging world and I was so happy she asked me to do a guest post for her. Since it's Fall and y'all KNOW I've stocked up on tons of canned pumpkin, I felt it only right to utilize this tasty commodity. Oh yeah, did I mention they're guilt-free??
Yep! Sure are and they're no bake, no hassle. The perfect quick treat to whip up for any Fall party or even to satisfy that sweet tooth that you know just looms over you this time of year. I found the idea for this recipe from one of my favorite blogs Gingerbread Bagels and modified it so that it would be guilt-free! It's impossible hard to resist all the amazing recipes out right now so why not make something you can actually indulge in??
So head on ever to Charissa's lovely blog to see this yummy, skinny dessert and make sure to check out all her other delicious recipes! Trust me you won't be disappointed, she loves to cook healthy and her posts are pretty fun to read too. Don't forget to tell her I said hello!
